MICROBLADING
POWDER BROW
Microblading is a technique of semi-permanent makeup where pigment is manually deposited into the second layer of the skin (dermis) using a tiny hand-held blade. The unique formation of microblading needles allows the artist to create the look of real eyebrow hairs by tattooing very fine hair-like strokes in the skin. Only suitable for younger clients (30 or under).
Powder brow is a cosmetic semi-permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with soft powder effect, very similar to powder makeup. Powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup device, which is similar to a tattoo gun. Ideal for those with very little brow hair, looking for low maintenance up-keep.
NANO BROW
Nano brow is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique that uses a fine needle to create natural-looking eyebrow strokes. It's a type of permanent makeup that's similar to microblading, but with a softer healed result, and can be done on clients of any age. Ideal for those with a decent amount of brow hair, but who are lacking shape or fullness in certain areas.
COMBO BROW
Combo brow utilizes the nano approach in the front part of the brow, and the powder shading in the arch and tail of the brow- ideal for those with less hair, mature skin or oily skin- but who still want a very realistic look.

Future touch ups
Yearly touch ups are recommended to keep the brows looking fresh and polished. Clients with oilier skin may come more often, while clients with dryer skin can get away with waiting longer.
Pro tip for longevity: Don't put AHA's, BHA's or retinol on your brows. Avoid chemical peels near the brows as well. Wear sunscreen and big hats to protect brows from the sun. And don't overdo it either! They are meant to fade over time and coming in too frequently for touch ups will cause traditional microblading strokes to blur, and too much machine work will make the brows look dark and unnatural.

Who is not a good candidate?
-
Some people (age 60+) may not have enough collagen to receive optimal results and should opt for other less-invasive services, like waxing/tinting.
-
People undergoing advanced acne treatments should not receive microblading because the medications will affect color and retention.
-
People who are pregnant or nursing may not receive the service.
-
Additionally, people who suffer from any autoimmune diseases, diabetes, epilepsy/seizures, keloid scarring, or who are undergoing chemotherapy/radiation may not receive microblading, unless they come with a signed doctor's note.
